The Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Defence, Fran Bailey, has today commissioned the development of a Point Cook RAAF Base Strategic Land Use Working Book that will collate the ongoing work and discussions of three working groups providing further opportunity for community consultation.

"This Working Book will help to incorporate information from the many studies and assessments that have been conducted on the Point Cook site," said the Parliamentary Secretary, Fran Bailey.

"The Working Book will help to build on the hard work already undertaken by three working groups and present information for the general public in a user friendly manner.

"The Working Book provides extensive background information about Point Cook and includes information on the planning and consultation processes that will help the community in the next stage of the consultation process," Fran Bailey explained.
