MEDIA RELEASE Peter KING MP MEMBER FOR WENWORTH

Bright Future for Class of 2002

The future looks bright for Eastern Suburbs students after their 2002 HSC results.

Students at the Rose Bay Secondary College (based at Vaucluse High School) scored high results, with 30% reaching university admission index scores of over 90.

The majority of those students have received a university offer with commerce and computer studies being the most popular course selection.

Federal Member for Wentworth, Peter King said the student’s efforts were to be applauded

“The HSC results for the students based at Vaucluse High were outstanding, particularly with a high number of students having a university admission index score of well over 90.

“It is very pleasing to see the students will further their educational endeavours after gaining a university place in the recent round of offers.

“The teachers, staff and principal of the Rose Bay Secondary College should also be congratulated on the schools educational achievements.” said Mr King.
