Students and staff at Millicent North Primary School will benefit from an Australian Government grant of $600,000 for the redevelopment of general learning areas and the relocation of the schools resource centre.

Federal Member for Barker, Mr Patrick Secker MP said that the grant would be used to upgrade a classroom block creating a multi purpose activity area linked to the classrooms, upgrade of toilets and upgrading of heating and cooling within the school. Future works include relocation of the resource centre and plant replacement.

“The new facilities will help the school to provide the best possible learning environment for students in the area,” Mr Secker said.
