ORGAN TO SEND OFF “RABBLE” BOUND FOR NSW PARLIAMENT

Cunningham MP Michael Organ will send off the Illawarra’s contingent of a NSW wide protest bound for Macquarie street, who were referred to as “rabble” by the NSW Premier when he and his Cabinet last came to Wollongong on 7 September this year.

“These protesters are rallying against cuts to disability employment programs outside NSW Parliament House tomorrow and good on them,” Michael Organ said.

“It really was classic Labor party arrogance for the NSW Premier to dismiss these protesters as “rabble” when he and his Cabinet held a meeting in Wollongong on 7 September, so I was pleased to see the Premier apologise for his monumental gaff on the same day,” Michael Organ said.

“I congratulate these protesters for taking their legitimate concerns to the NSW Parliament tomorrow, Michael Organ said.

“Bob Carr should commit to improve and not reduce services for people with disabilities, Michael Organ said.

What: Send off for people with disabilities, their carers and families protesting against cuts to disability employment program funding.
