RESIGNATION OF LASA CEO

Labor expresses its gratitude to Patrick Reid as he concludes his tenure as the CEO of Leading Aged Services Australia (LASA).

Patrick directed LASA for the past three years, through a time of major changes in the aged care sector.

Patrick has been a fierce advocate for LASA’s members and the ageing policies. He represented LASA’s members during the development of Labor’s the Living Longer Living Better aged care reform package.

We have appreciated Patrick’s continued advocacy and policy advice during our time in Opposition. He has been an outstanding champion for age care services and age- friendly policies in this nation.

On behalf of Labor we thank Patrick for his contribution and wish him well in his future endeavours.

We look forward to working with the new CEO Sean Rooney in the same open and collaborative way, when he begins in June 2016.
