MORRISON’S PAID PARENTAL LEAVE CUTS HURTS NEW PARENTS   

An emotional Senate hearing today has heard how new mums will be worse off as a result of Scott Morrison’s cuts to paid parental leave.

Lieutenant Commander, Sandra Croft, a veteran who served in the Middle East, gave an emotional description of how the cuts will affect her and her family. She said without paid parental she would be left with just $120 a fortnight to live on.

Lieutenant Commander, Sandra Croft, went on to say:

“I just can’t imagine leaving a three-month-old baby. And leaving for work at seven in the morn An emotional Senate hearing today has heard how new mums will be worse off as a result of Scott Morrison’s cuts to paid parental leave.

But that’s the reality that faces women like Sandra Croft.

New parents will be forced to choose between going back to work and spending time with their precious newborn babies.

Sandra also went onto to talk about the offensive language used by Abbott Government Ministers like Scott Morrison, stating:

“To insult us by saying we’re double-dippers is very disappointing.”

Scott Morrison should finally listen to women like Sandra Croft and drop his unfair cuts to paid parental leave for good.
