Coalition welcomes initiative to help our young veterans

The Coalition warmly welcomes the announcement by the NSW Government, Clubs NSW and the RSL and Services Clubs Association of the ‘Securing Our Veterans’ Future’ initiative.

This exciting new initiative will help recently returned veterans, and their families, with a pathway to employment beyond the Defence Force.

If elected, a Coalition Government will work closely with the NSW Government, other State and Territory administrations and the veteran and ex-service community to give national exposure to the employment needs of recently returned Defence personnel.

We owe it to our recently returned veterans to give them a pathway to post-service employment. This initiative provides one pathway.

I commend the work done so far and if elected, a Coalition Government will work with these organisations and other stakeholders to give consideration to ways to expand this very worthwhile initiative.
