More Wong hypocrisy - when will we see Labor’s election costings and savings?

Penny Wong’s negative and baseless attacks on the Coalition’s costings and savings fell flat today when she admitted that the Government is yet to release its own election costings.

Amid their moralising, the question for Penny Wong and Chris Bowen is: On what day will we see all of Labor’s election costings and savings?

In both 2007 and 2010 Labor released its election costings literally the day before polling day. Penny Wong’s hypocrisy and double standards are embarrassing.

When asked today about when the Australian people will see Labor’s numbers Penny Wong let the cat out of the bag.

“To date, everything we have announced is either fully provisioned for in the budget or we will or have lodged for costing with Treasury and Finance in accordance with the Charter of Budget Honesty.” (Penny Wong and Chris Bowen Press Conference 21/8/13)

In addition, Labor continues to peddle their $70 billion lie even though it has been universally exposed as not credible.

The Budget has blown out to the tune of $107 billion during Penny Wong’s time as Finance Minister and everybody knows Labor’s own dismal track record of revealing its own election costings.

Would you keep your job if you blew the budget by $107 billion?
