A comprehensive review of the Disability Services Act is underway. Importantly, the review will call on the community to share their views on the Act - giving people the chance to have their say about the decisions that affect them.

The first stage of the review will be launched by Dr Ajidrew Theophanous. MP. Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister and the Minister for Human Services and Health, and Alan Rose, President of the Australian Law Reform Commission.

WHEN: 11 am Monday 22 May

WHERE: City Conference Centre Level 2A 256 Flinders Street Melbourne

As part of the first stage, the Commission will release a consumer issues paper for discussion.

All media are invited to attend. Dr Theophanous will be available for interview after the launch.
