ADVISERS SLIGHTLY WOUNDED

Three members of the Australian'Army Training Team Vietnam

(AATTV) were slightly wounded in action in three separate incidents in "E frr5 44 r

South Vietnam on 1 id (April 8).

Captain B.F. McGurgan,.of Tatura, Vic, was wounded when an enemy

mine exploded in Quang Nam Province and Warrant Officer Second Class

G. Jamieson, of Penicuik, Midlothian, Scotland, was wounded during a

mortar attack in Kon Turn Province-.

Both remained on duty.

Warrant Officer. Second Class S. Speechley, of Keperra, Qld,

was accidentally wounded in_Thua Thien Province by fragments from an

M 79 grenade fired by friendly troops.'

After hospital treatment he returned to duty in the field.

Next of kin have been notified.'
