VIETNAM CASUALTY

An Australian soldier was wounded in action in Phuoc Tuy Province, South Vietnam on Sunday March 29 when his tank hit an enemy mine.

He is Corporal J.J. O'Shea of Bonbeach, Victoria,.a member of 1st Armoured Regiment, Royal Australian Armoured Corps.

Corporal O'Shea was admitted to 1st Australian Field Hospital and later transferred to 24th U.S. Evacuation Hospital, Bien Hoa Province where he is in a serious condition.

His next-of-kin has been notified.
