Schedule 4, Item 67  - The Native Title Act 1993

 

This amendment seeks to correct a drafting error in the Bill.  Item 67, Schedule 4, in the Bill refers to “funds provided to a representative body” under the Native Title Act 1993 .  However the relevant subsection of the Native Title Act 1993 (subsection 203FE(3)) being amended concerns the funding of persons or bodies rather than of representative bodies.  The amendment seeks to correct this drafting error.
