OUTLINE
This amendment clarifies the intended operation of clause 109 of the Stronger Futures in the Northern Territory Bill 2011.

STRONGER FUTURES IN THE NORTHERN TERRITORY BILL 2011
Amendments to be moved on behalf of the Government
Clause 109 is intended to apply only in relation to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 . The following amendment clarifies this by specifying that the clause applies only in relation to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and not to any other law of the Commonwealth.
NOTES ON AMENDMENTS
Amendment 1 replaces the heading to clause 109 with:
109 Interaction with the Competition and Consumer Act 2010
Amendment 2 omits the words ‘any other law of the Commonwealth’ and substitutes ‘the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 ’.
