7 Saving provisions
(1) Despite the repeal of sections 13 and 14 of the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999 made by this Schedule, those sections, as in force immediately before the commencement of this item, continue to apply on and after that commencement in relation to contacts to the Department made before that commencement.
(2) Despite the repeal of subsection 39(5) of the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999 made by this Schedule, that subsection, as in force immediately before the commencement of this item, continues to apply on and after that commencement in relation to a claim taken to have been made by virtue of section 13 or 14 of that Act in connection with the Department being contacted before that commencement.
