Summary

Amends the International Monetary Agreements Act 1947 to: enable loans or currency swaps to be provided as part of a package prepared by the World Bank or the Asian Development Bank; appropriate funds from the Consolidated Revenue Fund for such loan or currency swaps; and provide that the Treasurer table in each House a national interest statement when an agreement to provide such financial assistance is entered into.
