Summary

Amends the AusLink (National Land Transport) Act 2005 to: replace references to ‘AusLink’ with ‘Nation Building Program’; clarify funding for off-network projects and off-network projects in regional areas; enable the minister to specify funding conditions in certain documents from time to time; enable the minister to grant certain funding recipients an exemption for calling for public tenders; extend the types of projects that can receive funding as Nation Building Program Black Spot Projects; and enable the minister to increase monies payable to organisations on the Nation Building Program Roads to Recovery List. Also contains a transitional regulation making power.
