Part of a package of six bills to give effect to the Government’s Nation Building and Jobs Plan, the bill amends the Commonwealth Inscribed Stock Act 1911 to authorise the Treasurer to increase the cap on the face value of Commonwealth Government Securities on issue by $125 billion in special circumstances.
