Marriage Amendment Bill 2004

(Amendments to be moved by Senator Greig on behalf of the Australian Democrats in committee of the whole)

(1)     Schedule 1, item 1, page 3 (lines 7 and 8), omit the definition of marriage , substitute:

marriage means the union of:

                     (a)  a man and a woman; or

                     (b)  a man and a man; or

                     (c)  a woman and a woman;

to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into.
