(1)     Schedule 1, item 2, page 3 (line 10), omit “1 July 2001.”, substitute:

1 July 2001, unless:

                     (a)  the person departs using a ticket or equivalent authority; and

                     (b)  the ticket or authority was sold or issued before 1 July 2001.
