Senator Douglas McClelland (NEW SOUTH WALES) (Minister for the Media) - All I, as the representative of the Government, need to say is that my colleagues join me in appreciating that the Australian people will now not be deprived of the Australian Schools Commission which, prior to the last Federal election, the Labor movement undertook to establish if and when we were elected to office. I am delighted to know that at long last common sense seems to have prevailed in this chamber on a matter of such an important nature.
