Senator GEORGES (Queensland) - During the debate today Senator Hannan referred to one, Marjan Jurjevic, as a spy and a traitor and said he had fought in the Nazi Army. As Senator Hannan has left the chamber I give notice that I will take this matter up on the adjournment debate tomorrow night since I was deprived of the opportunity of doing so during the debate tonight by the application of the gag.

The PRESIDENT - Senator Georges, you may not raise on the motion for the adjournment any matter that was under debate earlier in the day.

Senator GEORGES - I would like your guidance on this, Mr President. A man was today defamed and I think it is necessary-

The PRESIDENT - You may use the forms of the Senate to raise this matter on a subsequent occasion.

Senator GEORGES - I will seek the advice of the Clerk. Thank you.
