Senator COTTON (NEW SOUTH WALES) (Minister for Civil Aviation) - I read that same report yesterday with considerable astonishment. I thought insurance was a proposition to cover people against risks and that an insuring company would not try to exclude any specific risk. I have referred previously to the fact that there are 26,000 supersonic flights over the United States of America every year. I do not think insurers in the United States have withdrawn the protection that they would properly give to an ordinary policy holder. I repeat that I am astonished. I have taken action to find out what it is all about.
