Senator CAVANAGH (SOUTH AUSTRALIA) - I desire to ask the Attorney-General a question without notice. I ask that he convey to Senator Webster information contained in a letter from the Chief Secretary of Western Australia. Will the Attorney-General table his letter to the Chief Secretary of that State, and the Chief Secretary's reply, so that the whole Senate may be as well informed on the matter as Senator Webster obviously is?

Senator GREENWOOD - I think Senator Cavanagh's question derives from the fact that Senator Webster asked me a question earlier today. I can assure Senator Cavanagh and the Senate that Senator Webster sought me out and wanted to know whether anything further had transpired with regard to the matter. I told him that I had received a letter. I told him that if he cared to ask me a question about it he should do so. I shall give consideration to tabling the letter which I have recived from the Chief Secretary of Western Australia together with a copy of the letter which I sent.
