Senator PALTRIDGE - The power to confer on anyone a right to vote in State elections does not reside in this Parliament. If a question such as that now asked by the honorable senator had been asked in any of the State Parliaments the answer given would have been the answer that I now give to the honorable senator: This matter concerns policy which it is not appropriate to deal with at question time.
