Senator COHEN asked the Minister rep resenting the Attorney-General, upon notice -

1.   Did the former Solicitor-General, Sir Kenneth Bailey, announce at the Commonwealth Law Convention in January, 1963, that the Attorney-General had " Cabinet authority to design a new Federal court with a view to consideration by Cabinet for approval by legislative action "?

2.   What is the present position with regard to development of this matter?

3.   When is it expected that action will be taken to bring this proposal before the Parliament?
