Senator ANDERSON - There are some elements of that question which I feel should be answered by the Minister for Immigration. Therefore, 1 ask the honorable senator to place it on the notice paper. However, I would say in a general way that there is no variation in the criteria and requirements for immigration. We do not distinguish between potential immigrants. We have a very proper and strict rule in relation to the entrance of migrants into Australia. This is not a variable thing. Everyone has to conform to it. I am sure the honorable senator will agree that (hat is a proper procedure to adopt.
