Senator ANDERSON - The answers to the honorable senator's questions are as follows -

1.   Yes.

2.   Yes.

3.   The Act to amend the Broadcasting and Television Act (No. 67 of 1964) besides increasing the fee for a licence for a television receiver, also provided for the introduction, on a date to be fixed by proclamation, of a combined receiving licence at a fee of £8 10s., which is5s. less than the total fees payable for separate broadcast and television licences. Pensioners eligible for a reduced rate licences will pay £2 for the combined licence.

4.   The reduced combined licence fees will be available to new licensees as from 1st April 1965. In the case of existing licensees, the commencement date for a combined licence is the date of expiry of the television viewer's licence.
