Senator COOKE (WESTERN AUSTRALIA) - Will the Leader of the Government in the Senate accept my thanks for his prompt reply to a question relating to amendments of the Seamen's War Pensions and Allowances Act (No. 2) 1964 - Act No. 113 of 1964 - and for sharing my regret at the delay in issuing regulations to permit beneficiaries under the Act to obtain the privilege of treatment in repatriation hospitals, which the Government has extended to them? Will he arrange for the regulations, when they are issued after such inordinate delay, to apply retrospectively, as from 1964, so that people who, by Government policy and the will of the Parliament, are entitled to treatment in repatriation hospitals may be reimbursed the cost of treatment in ordinary hospitals?
