Senator McKENNA (Tasmania) (Leader of the Opposition) . - Mr. President, I regret that I feel under the necessity, having regard to the principle involved in this matter, to move dissent from your ruling. I shall reduce my dissent to writing in a moment and will move that the matter be dealt with forthwith. (Senator McKenna having submitted in writing his objection to the President's ruling) -

That the ruling be dissented from and that the matter be disposed of forthwith.
