Senator ANDERSON - The achievement of uniformity at all levels is not easy in almost any matter. All of us have had experience of it in relation to various departments. As recently as early this morning we were discussing a proposition relating to uniformity in meat inspection. The points raised by the honorable senator will be brought to the notice of the Minister for Primary Industry. I am quite confident that he will take whatever steps he can to achieve uniformity, but the States themselves have responsibilities in this field.
