Senator ANDERSON - I shall certainly draw the attention of the Acting Minister for Health to the honorable senator's question. I make the observation that, if a certain drug has been withdrawn from the list, it would be because there were other drugs on the list which performed a similar function.

Senator Fitzgerald - But not as good as this one.

Senator ANDERSON - Dr. Fitzgerald says: " Not as good as this one ". He sees it as being a little different. However, I am now being a little flippant. I inform him that as a general rule, if a drug is withdrawn, the reason is that, in the judgment of the committee, there are other drugs on the list which will fulfil the same purpose. However, I will refer the honorable senator's question to the Acting Minister and obtain an answer for him.
