Senator PALTRIDGE - I am not aware of the situation as described by the honorable senator. I did not know, for example, that there had been need for the United States representatives, or that they felt that there had been need, to deny that there had been a colour bar any more than I had known that Hardeman Hutchinson Monier had denied that there had been a colour bar. AH I can say to the honorable senator is that I will have a look at the matter and see what the background to his question is. I will certainly let him know whether there is or is not any substance in it, and, if there is substance in it, what is being done in respect of the matter.
