Senator RIDLEY (SOUTH AUSTRALIA) - Will the Minister representing the Minister for Social Services seek clarification of the rights of employees of General Motors-Holden's Pty. Ltd. in South Australia to social service payments as a result of being retrenched following the strike by employees of the company in Victoria? As I understand the position, the legal point at issue is whether employees who are out of work can be ruled to be on strike because of the carrying of a resolution in support of their colleagues who are on strike in Victoria.
