Senator COLLETT (WESTERN AUSTRALIA) asked the Minister representing the Minister for War Organization of Industry, upon notice -

1.   Is it a fact that clothing ration coupons are demanded of purchasers of unbleached calico?

2.   Is not this material the most effective for the purposes of packing parcels intended for members of the services in the forward areas, at home and abroad?

3.   If so, and if the answer to 1 is in the affirmative, why is this restriction imposed?
