Senator CLOTHIER asked the Minister representing the Minister for the Army, upon notice -

1.   Does not the Minister consider that the Soldiers Dependants' Appeal Organization has done excellent work in providing assistance by way of grants of clothing, food, medical attention,&c, to returned soldiers and their dependants and by also providing free legal advice for them?

2.   Is it a fact that 1,117 applications for assistance or advice were received by this organization during the year 1941-42?

3.   Will the Minister give instructions that this organization be supplied with the names and addresses of dependants of men who were billed on service in order that it may continue the work it has been doing.
