Senator COLLINGS - In answer to the honorable senator's long list of discourteously phrased questions--

Senator COLLINGS - It is my privilege to answer questions relating to matters under my control, and my duty to answer them as I think fit. I repeat that in reply to the honorable senator's long list of discourteously phrased questions, one of which was distinctly insulting, members of the Commonwealth Bank Board appointed by the Government of which the honorable senator was a supporter, were not returned soldiers. I say further, that the actions of this Government so far--


Senator Allan MacDonald - I rise to a point of order. Is the Leader of the

Senate in order in implying that you, sir, are unable to determine whethera question is of an insulting nature?
