Senator FRASER (WESTERN AUSTRALIA) (Minister for External Territories) - The appraisement of wool at Albany has been under consideration since the formation of the present Government, and I endeavoured at the earliest possible opportunity to give effect to a part of the decision reached by the previous Government. If the appraisement of wool is not taking place at Albany at present, it is due to the awkward situation brought about by the unpreparedness of the wool brokers in Western Australia to appraise wool at that centre; but I understand that even that difficulty has now been overcome.
