Senator CUNNINGHAM (Western Australia) . - I offer no objection to the passage of the bill. Its object is to simplify the administration of acts, and it also prescribes the maximum pecuniary penalties which a court may impose on a corporation where the only penalty prescribed by the act is one of imprisonment. The bill also clarifies the powers regarding the making of regulations.

Question resolved in the affirmative.

Bill read a second time, and passed through its remaining stages without amendment or debate.
