Senator LECKIE (VICTORIA) (Minister without portfolio assisting the Minister for Trade and Customs) - Each of the States was represented. New South Wales and Victoria each had six representatives, and some of the other States had a fewer number of representatives. The conference was very successful. An account was given of all of the air-raids precautions work carried out in the various States, and I, personally, was gratified and surprised to find that Australia is in a greater state of preparedness to meet air raids than is generally supposed. If the honorable senator still desires to know the names of the representatives who attended the conference, I shall be happy to obtain them for him.
