Senator McLEAY (South AustraliaPostmasterGeneral) - by leave - Iwas not aware of the particular matter on which Senator Amour was given leave to make a statement. As I have stressed in this chamber on previous occasions, I think that honorable senators should jealously guard their privileges, and be careful in making statements about persons who have no opportunity to defend themselves. The matter raised by the honorable senator willbe referred to the Attorney-General (Mr. Hughes).
