Senator MARWICK (WESTERN AUSTRALIA) asked the PostmasterGeneral upon notice -

1.   Has the Minister seen a press report to the effect that it is proposed to change the present air mail route, Darwin-Daly WatersPerth to Darwin-Adelaide-Perth?

2.   If theGovernment is considering such a proposal will it be remembered that such a change may cause very great inconvenience to the people of Western Australia?

3.   Will the Minister make a full statement upon the subject?
