Senator LECKIE (Victoria) .- It is always interesting to listen to the fantastic fallacies of the Leader of the Opposition (Senator Collings) concerning private enterprise. The honorable senator will be interested to learn that the object of this measure is not to bring the wool industry under Government control. The wool-growers are contributing every penny to be expended on publicity work, and all that they ask is that those who are to benefit by the advertising campaign shall be compelled to contri-bute towards its cost. The wool-growers have not come to the Government for assistance, and, so far as I know, they do not intend, to do so.
