Senator A J McLACHLAN (SOUTH AUSTRALIA) - The answers to the honorable senator's questions are as follows: -

1.   Plans were prepared some considerable time ago, but it was found that these needed revision. The Departments of the Interior and that of the Postmaster-General are cooperating in the preparation of fresh plans which will be submitted to Cabinet. 2 and 3. These aspects come within the province of my colleague, the Minister for the Interior, and will receive his consideration at the appropriate time.
