Senator E B JOHNSTON (Western Australia) .-This is one of the many amendments which may prove detrimental to primary producers. Over a period of years the liability of the taxpayer may be increased, particularly in districts where the possibility of the progeny of cattle, sheep and horses surviving is somewhat uncertain. Will the Minister explain the reasons for the proposed alteration?
