Senator A J McLACHLAN (SOUTH AUSTRALIA) (Postmaster-General) . I do not wish the honorable senator to misrepresent me. The clause has been the subject of consultations between the representatives of the Commonwealth and States, who have expressed the views which some honorable senators have already expressed. If the clause is amended, further conferences will have to be held, but, of course, it is competent for honorable senators to move amendments if they so desire.
