Senator DUNCAN (New South Wales) . - When I asked the Minister representing the Attorney-General a question to-day concerning the advisability of establishing a court of petty sessions at Canberra, and the appointment of a stipendiary magistrate, he suggested that I should put my question on the noticepaper. I suggest now that the Government should give some consideration to this matter before the Appropriation Bill is considered in committee, because 1 desire some definite information upon it.

Question resolved in the affirmative.
