Senator Sir GEORGE PEARCE - On the 25th inst. Senator Findley asked the following questions, upon notice: -

1.   On what date was the Royal Commission on National Insurance appointed?

2.   On what date did the commission conclude its inquiries and furnish the final report?

3.   What was the total expenditure incurred in connexion with such commission?

4.   What was the total amount (including fees and travelling expenses) paid to the chairman of the commission (Senator J. D. Millen).

The information asked for in 1 and 2 was given by me, and I am now in a position to furnish the remaining answers, as follow: -
