Senator FINDLEY (VICTORIA) - I ask the Leader of the Senate whether he has yet any information concerning the published statement, that the Income Tax Department is an unsecured creditor to the amount of £28,133 in connexion with the insolvency of Reynolds Driver, whose liabilities are stated to be £33,766. If the information has not come to hand, will the Minister state the reason for the delay ?

Senator Sir GEORGE PEARCE - The honorable senator's question was at once communicated to the Taxation Commissioner. I have made inquiries, and I regret to state that the desired information has not yet come to hand from the Victorian branch of the commissioner's office. I have asked that the matter be expedited.
