Senator McLACHLAN - The answers are : -

1.   Queensland, £25,000; Western Australia, £101,157 10s.

2.   No money was advanced to Tasmania because that State has not so far agreed to accept advances from the Commonwealth under the Wire and Wire Netting Act 1927. New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia have also not yet agreed to accept the advances.
