Senator ANDREW asked the Minister representing the Minister for Markets and Migration, upon notice -

1.   Did the Minister see a statement in the report of the International Wool Conference held at Reichenburg ( Czecho-Slovakia ) to the effect that Mr. Tulloch, of New Zealand, claimed that a New Zealand chemist had discovered a scourable marking for sheep marking?

2.   Will he communicate with New Zealand with a view to obtaining particulars of this marking for the benefit of Australian wool producers?
